Compass360 Racing Wins Grand-Am ST Championships!

Last weekend at Virginia International Raceway, Compass360 Racing won all three Grand-Am Street Tuner Championships: Team, Driver (Christian Miller) and Manufacturer (Honda). The marks the first Grand-Am championship not just for our Team or Christian, but also for Honda. We scored every point for Honda this year (meaning that we were the top-finishing Honda in all eleven races), and we’re immensely proud of what we accomplished this year.

A full race report will follow in the next few days, but as our crew returns home to unload the rigs and retire for a few days well-deserved rest, we’ll enjoy the feeling of a hard-won championship; one that we’ve been so-close-to-winning for three years.

Lombardi Racing’s Nick Wittmer Wins CCTCC Championship

Congratulations to Nick Wittmer and Lombardi Racing on taking their first championship in the Canadian Touring Car series! The bright yellow-and-black Lombardi Honda Civic Si’s faced a tough battle from other Honda-powered cars (including a couple of Acura RSX-S’s), as well as some surprisingly quick Subaru WRX’s. But the year-long battle was with the four BMWs of GT Racing. In the end, the Wittmer took the title, relegating the bimmers to second and third place.

Lombardi is a long-time C360R client, and we assist them with technical and parts development. Well done Lombardi and Nick!
