Compass360 Racing Extends Championship Lead at Trois-Rivieres

Compass360 Racing (C360R) extended its lead in the Grand-Am KONI Street Tuner championship with solid top-ten results at this weekend’s frantic race at the legendary street course in Trois-Rivi�res, Quebec, Canada.

The Street Tuner race, held as part of an epic weekend of racing in this picturesque riverside town two hours east of Montreal, promised to be a battle of attrition as drivers were required to keep their cars intact within the tight confines of the twisty concrete gauntlet.

Theetge Poised For Trois-Rivi�res Victory

TROIS-RIVI�RES, QUEBEC - The streets of Le Circuit de Trois-Rivi�res are like second nature to Benoit Theetge of Boischitel.

This Saturday, Theetge will once again compete in the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi�res, the 1.521-mile temporary circuit playing host its 40th year of racing. He will drive in the Grand-Am KONI Sports Car Challenge, as a co-driver to Christian Miller, the point leader in the Street Tuner class.

Theetge began competing at Trois-Rivi�res in the early 1990s, and has a handful of wins at his home track. However, none have compete in the KONI Challenge, which is a successor series to the Motorola Cup that toured Canada during the previous decade.
