Miller Snags 2nd at Long Beach Time Attack

Christian Miller, who co-drives our #75 TSX, narrowly missed the top spot in class at last weekend’s Time Attack at Long Beach. Held as part of the last-ever Champ Car race, the event was by invitation only and delighted the huge crowd at the famous street circuit.

Keeping Fit in Go Karts

I know I’m not the only KONI driver that’s found this year’s break to be a lengthy one. Of course, I’ve managed to keep busy, with a family vacation to Barbados, a business trip to Dubai and signing an immensely talented duo for our fourth full-season car, all amongst the usual excitement of the ad business and shepherding two little kids through daily life. But it still seems an eon since Travis and I stood on the podium in Daytona!

York Returns to Speed Secrets as Coach

Kevin York, co-driver of C360R’s #75 Acura TSX, will be back at Watkins Glen May 14 and 15 to help select Porsche Club of America advanced drivers to be faster and more consistent. As a Speed Secrets coach, Kevin will be joining Scott Leder and others from the Speed Secrets staff at the perennially popular “Cups and Saucers” advanced driver education event hosted by the Hudson Champlain Region of the PCA.

Wilden and Willard Join Compass360 Racing

TORONTO, CANADA—After a very successful test at Lime Rock Park earlier this week, Compass360 Racing today announced that Kenny Wilden and Jeremy Willard have been signed to drive the team’s #73 Acura TSX for the 2008 season. The View from Dubai

DUBAI - I’ve spent the last week here on business in this hub of Middle-Eastern commerce. I’m told that a quarter of the world’s construction cranes are here, and frankly, that sounds a conservative estimate. It’s difficult to describe just how much building activity is on the go; imagine being in San Francisco, and heading south on the coastal highway for an hour. That’s the coastal frontage being developed. Then drive twenty minutes inland, and consider the size of that total area. Imagine that less than ten years ago most of that was desert, and now buildings are sprouting out of the entire area, packed as closely together as high-rises in Manhattan, and you’ve an idea of the scale of the project.

Travis Walker Flogs the Skunk2 Civic Si

Travis, along with Crew Chief Ray Lee and top-tuner Kenneth “Turtle” Lau spent some quality time with our friends from Skunk2 at Buttonwillow in March. The result was a very strong test, with the Civic Si and Mitsu Evo IV turning times that would win each class.
